The Art Garden will be home to an artist collective developing a sustainable model for affordable studios, shared shop resources, an intuitive arts program, and a gallery—creating space for artistic practice, community, and connection.
The short term goal (August - December 2026) is to invite 7-12 artists to activate the upstairs studios and be the inagural members of the Art Garden Collective.
Start the basement removation - digging out 2 feet to give full clearance, to setup a shop by the end of the year
Remove all the drop ceiling and evaluate HVAC relocations, wall locations, etc, start in on making it nice nice
Intuitive arts programming to start post major construction bits - November, maybe? - or maybe sooner - stay tuned.
The Art Garden is beginning to take shape. We’re opening studio spaces to artists who want affordable room to work and the opportunity to be part of building a new creative community.
